The Challenge
Defense personnel relied on multiple disconnected systems for mission planning and situational awareness. Critical information was siloed, leading to delays in decision-making and potential gaps in operational readiness.
The Approach
Working within strict security constraints, I conducted user research with operational personnel to understand their workflows, pain points, and information hierarchy needs. The design process involved rapid prototyping with classified data patterns and iterative testing with end users.
The Solution
A unified command dashboard that consolidates real-time data feeds, geospatial intelligence, and communication channels into a single, intuitive interface. The design adapts to different operational contexts and user roles while maintaining consistency across the platform.
